Absent employees: 14 doctors issued final show-cause notices

Health minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has ordered to issue the final show-cause notices to 14 doctors for their absence from duty. If the doctors fail to comply with the orders, they will be removed from their services. Earlier, 15 doctors of BPS-17 were called for personal hearing before the competent authority. However, only one of them, Dr Gauri Shankar, appeared for the hearing before the health ministry. While, Dr Javaid Memon, Dr Nazeer Ali, Dr Muhammad Ali Channa, Dr Yousuf Ali, Dr Syed Munawar Abbas Ali, Dr Haseeb bin Habib, Dr Saeed Ahmad Shaikh, Dr Najma Naz, Dr Anis Zaman, Dr Syed Imran Ali, Dr Raja Ather, Dr Khan Pal Das, Dr Muhammad Faisal and Dr Rehan Ali Jokhio failed to appear for the hearing and have been issued final show-cause notices.  The doctors will be terminated from their services, if they fail to obey the final orders.
