Promises: CPEC to change lives of fishermen, says CM
They were told that the Pasni Fish Harbour, closed for ten years, had been restored in a short span of two months.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri has said that the coastal belt of the province will reap the most benefits of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Zehri, accompanied by Commander Southern Command Maj-Gen Amir Riaz and Chief Secretary Saifullah Chattah, visited the recently restored Pasni Fish Harbour. The Gwadar-Kashgar highway will change the lives of the fishermen, he said. During a briefing they were told that the Pasni Fish Harbour, closed for ten years, had been restored in a short span of two months. In addition to 2,000 registered fishermen, 400 unregistered fishermen are using the fish harbor, which has increased the prospects of employment in the area.
