SWABI: Government Girls’ College Kotha and a playground were inaugurated on Monday by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser in Swabi. “All political parties should think about the betterment of the public by keeping aside grudges and rifts,” Qaiser said, while inaugurating the college. The facility has been built at a cost of Rs184.22 million. “Politics is not for financial gain; its aim should be to serve the public.” He added one aim of the government was to make Swabi a prosperous district and eliminate deprivation from among the public. He added during the last three years, many projects, including those for health, education, irrigation, power and transport, were started by the incumbent government. Its main focus is education because that was the only way to a successful life.
