Anti-Ship Missile: Navy successfully tests ‘Zarb’

Vice Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi lauded the efforts of those involved

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy successfully tested an indigenous shore-based anti-ship missile on Saturday. The test launch of the ‘Zarb’ anti-ship was conducted in the Arabian Sea, the navy said in an official statement.  Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) Vice Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi lauded the efforts of those involved.  “With this successful test launch, significant capability has been added to the Pakistan Navy arsenal which will further bolster the seaward defence of the country and contribute towards peace and stability in the region,” he said while congratulating the crew of the missile’s battery.
