Sexual assault: Woman raped in DI Khan

DI KHAN: A woman was raped by four men in DI Khan on Friday night. An official of the local police station said the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Penyalla police station at about 1pm. He said four men barged into a woman’s house and raped her at gunpoint. “After committing the offence, they managed to escape,” he said. An FIR has been registered and investigation is under way. A large number of rape cases have surfaced in the province. Earlier this month, a dancer was raped in Hayatabad, Peshawar by a former lawmaker of the Afghan parliament.
