Panic: DSP seeks apology for entering LHC judge convoy
The security staff of the judge reported the matter to Jhelum police
RAWALPINDI:
A deputy superintendent of police (DSP) had to seek an apology on Thursday for entering security convoy of a Lahore High Court judge and creating panic.
Following the report, Justice Khan directed the higher police officials to produce the DSP before court. DSP Syed Zulfiqar Hussain Gillani appeared before Justice Khan and said that he was sleeping in his car and his driver mistakenly entered the security convoy. The judge accepted the apology.

Justice Abdul Sami Khan was going to Lahore on April 1 when a car entered his security convoy on GT Road, near Jhelum. The security staff of the judge reported the matter to Jhelum police.
Following the report, Justice Khan directed the higher police officials to produce the DSP before court. DSP Syed Zulfiqar Hussain Gillani appeared before Justice Khan and said that he was sleeping in his car and his driver mistakenly entered the security convoy. The judge accepted the apology.
