Corps commanders vow to block all 'hostile acts' against Pakistan

Conference at GHQ briefed about activities of hostile intelligence agencies inside the country, says ISPR

Pakistan Army has said it will take all measures to block hostile acts undermining security and growth of the country.

The resolve was expressed during a meeting of Corps Commanders conference at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, chaired by Army chief General Raheel Sharif on Thursday.

According to the ISPR, the meeting was briefed about activities of hostile intelligence agencies inside the country and the response thereof.

Security forum concerned at RAW’s shenanigans

An exhaustive review of professional matters, internal and external security situation, including the ongoing operations against terrorists in Shawal and rest of the country were also discussed on the occasion.

Earlier on March 25, an agent of Indian premier agency RAW was apprehended, accused of fomenting terrorism in Karachi and Balochistan.

Meanwhile, civil and military agencies launched on Wednesday the much-awaited targeted operation against militant outfits in Southern Punjab, days after a deadliest attack in Lahore’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal park that claimed 72 lives.

AJ | 8 years ago | Reply India is way overrated in all of this....They are utterly inept (putting it mildly) and couldnt do much of anything if they didnt have the blessing of the West. They are playing a part of a facilitators of their higher ups in the West and for that they are rewarded greatly. This is called a common or a bilateral interest of the two Governments. Get the likes of USAID (US Agency for International Development) out of your countries first and their billion dollar a year aid to Pakistan which does very little for the true development but acts as a front to change popular public opinions with the ones that West prescribe by buying instruments of mass communication inciting dissent and supporting pro western oppositions in the countries.

Irfan | 8 years ago | Reply @ Brainy It seems foreign intelligence operation were so vastly spread that Ajmal Kasab, phatan Kot and even LET, LEJ and JUD etc which seems operating from Pakitan were operations /offsprings of neighbouring couteries who at times behave like friends and sometimes as foes. This recent Spy Games is indeed pinching alot to the neighbours. Pakistan has learned alot from its mistakes and i wish the neighbours dont choose the path that will bring misery and shame to them. We are here to stay and the circumstances have taught Pakistanis how to survive in extraordinary circumstances that i am sure our neighbours would not like to be in.

Brainy Bhaijan | 8 years ago | Reply These generals are busy labeling their own citizens as RAW agents, while JuD/LeJ/LeT sets up its first ever state of the art Sharia court in Lahore, as reported by Dawn newspaper. The priorities of the establishment is really upside down.
