Busted: 27 booked for ‘land grabbing’

ISLAMABAD: The Sihala police on Tuesday booked 27 persons on allegations of land grabbing and making life-threatening statements. Azhar Mehmood lodged a complaint with the local police stating that Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam, Shahid, Nadeem, Raja Taufail, Zeeshan, Muhammad Sadiq and 20 others, who have yet to be identified, made an attempt to illegally occupy his land and hurled life threats when he opposed their attempt. The police have started an investigation.
