The top leadership of Pakistan Peoples Party has planned major reorganisations at provincial level and for this purpose, also sought suggestions from party workers and the intelligentsia.
The decision came during a meeting of the central executive committee of the party at Naudero House on Monday night. Bilawal, according to party sources, expressed concerns over decline in party’s position in Punjab.
Briefing the media, PPP information secretary Qamar Zaman Kaira said the meeting posed confidence in party’s Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and co-chairman Asif Zardari, besides paying rich tributes to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.
Replying to a question regarding the Panama Papers he said, it is very serious issue. “Had these Panama leaks involved PPP leadership, there would have been hue and cry against it and the NAB would have become active by now, while the media would have created much hype,” he said.
