Pakistan’s consul general in China has arranged the road show on April 6 on behalf of the PSPC

A ministerial delegation of the provincial government left for China on Monday to hold a road show and apprise heads of leading companies of investment opportunities in the Punjab.
Minister for Housing and Urban Development Malik Tanveer Aslam is leading the delegation. Its other members are Punjab Saaf Pani Company (PSPC) Chief Executive Officer Waseem Ajmal, PSPC Chairman Kashif Padhiar, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Asim Iqbal and Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director Chaudhry Naseer.

Pakistan’s consul general in China has arranged the road show on April 6 on behalf of the PSPC. The delegation will showcase documentaries and give presentations regarding investment opportunities in the Punjab. Members of the delegation will hold meetings with businessmen on April 7 in Shanghai. Pakistan’s ambassador to China has arranged a conference in Beijing on April 8 to interact with Chinese investors.

Aslam said the provincial government had taken measures to ensure an enabling environment for foreign investment in various sectors. He said the government had launched a scheme to provide safe drinking water to the people in rural and peri-urban areas. He said the PSPC had been established to plan, design and execute water supply projects in 144 tehsils of 36 districts.
