The first look of Mehreen Jabbar’s Dobara Phir Se has been released. The film starring Sanam Saeed, Adeel Husain, Hareem Farooq, Ali Kazmi, Tooba Siddiqui, Atiqa Odho, Shaz Khan, Musa will revolve around love, friendships and growing up.
Mehreen Jabbar, the talented filmmaker who brought us Ramchand Pakistani is known for bringing present-day issues to light through her films, and her second film will be no different.
Produced by Salman Iqbal, co produced by Mehreen Jabbar and Jerjees Seja, starring and directed by Mehreen Jabbar, Dobara Phir se has been shot in New York and Karachi.
Atiqa Odho will play the role of a mother-in-law to actor Hareem Farooq in the film. Her role as a mother in the film is one of four projects the actor was working on at once. On her decision to accept the four projects, Odho says she looks at three things before finalising an offer.
“Firstly, I look at the script and understand the character. And then, my decision is mainly based on what the audience will think of it. How will it affect them? I want my audience to connect with me emotionally. My ultimate goal is to involve them with my character.”
Dobara Phir Se is slated to release in 2016.
