Nowshera city: 132kV grid station inaugurated

PESCO CEO directed the officials to abstain from over-billing

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) CEO, Anwarul Haq Yousafzai, inaugurated the 132 kV Nowshera City grid station. Yousafzai also demanded the swift construction of the new 11kV Rashakai feeder. According to a handout issued on Friday, Yousafzai directed all executive engineers and sub-divisional officers of Nowshera to prepare for the upcoming summer season. He asked them to maintain a large number of distribution transformers on standby, in case the current transformers got damaged. The statement read Yousafzai asked the Pesco staff to repair defective ones. Yousafzai further directed the officials to abstain from over-billing and warned that in cases of violation, strict action will be taken. He emphasised the need to establish a positive image of Pesco by redressing customers’ complaints swiftly. Yousafzai also inspected the site of the under-construction 132 kV Marble City grid station, Risalpur, and its transmission line.
