Overburdened: Rana Mashhood to leave three portfolios

LAHORE: Education Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has decided to quit as minister in charge of Higher Education, Tourism and Sports. In a statement issued on Tuesday, Khan said that he had written a letter to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to inform him of his decision. “Promotion of education at school level is a heavy responsibility. I want to discharge it in an efficient manner. I will utilise all my energies for the promotion of education at school level and continue to work for the success of the chief minister’s vision for education,” he said.
