PESHAWAR:

Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) and Pakistan Railways organised a safari train trip on Monday from Peshawar to Attock Khurd, Punjab for Easter celebrations.

TCKP Managing Director Mushtaq Ahmad Khan said the safari train excursions were suspended because of the terrorist attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda.

He added the train service was resumed as an entertainment option for Easter. The excursion started from Peshawar – the train went through Nowshera and also passed River Indus.

Those on-board were informed about the various historical sites that came on the way. These included a Victorian railway station at Attock Khurd.
