PTI chief tweeted on Sunday that in order to establish a successful cricket team, the management needs to insulate from political pressure, institute six regional teams, and construct cricket grounds.
Imran alleged that the reason Pakistan cricket has, unlike elsewhere, failed to become an institution due to political meddling in the affairs of cricket.
The reason cricket has, unlike elsewhere, failed to become an institution in Pak is because here PM appoints PCB Chief.

“We have a PM who has perfected the art of cronyism & appointed an 'election fixer' to 'fix' Pakistan cricket,” said Imran.

Misery at World T20
Former skipper proposed that just like in Australia, all talent in Pakistan should be concentrated in six regional teams, sponsored by different departments.
Here is my strategy for reforming cricket in Pakistan: One: to make cricket an institution we have to insulate it from political pressure.
— Imran Khan (@ImranKhanPTI) March 27, 2016
Two: Despite an abundance of talent, our players lack temperament & technique, leading to performance inconsistencies.

Consistency only comes thru quality, highly competitive cricket. Hence, as in Australia, all talent shd be concentrated in 6 regional teams
— Imran Khan (@ImranKhanPTI) March 27, 2016
All depts shd sponsor these 6 regional teams rather than fielding their own teams.
— Imran Khan (@ImranKhanPTI) March 27, 2016
Three: rather than wasting money on senseless expenditures, we badly need more cricket grounds.
