Safety first: Security plan to ensure safety of bus passengers

PESHAWAR:

A security plan has been chalked out by the police to ensure safety of passengers travelling on buses.

This was stated in a handout issued by Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines on Thursday. Sniffer dogs will check all buses to avert any untoward incident. According to the document, a rehearsal was held in Hayatabad with bus drivers and their helpers. SSP Operation Abbas Majeed Marwat, Cantt SP Kashif Zulfiqar and Hayatabad ASP Hassan Afzal were present on the occasion.

As part of the process, buses would be checked with the help of sniffer dogs by BDU teams and a clearance certificate would be issued to them.
