Land encroachment: Railways chief issues ‘final warning’ to encroachers

KARACHI:

Pakistan Railways chief executive Muhammad Javed Anwar Bubak has warned the encroachers to evacuate railway lands immediately.

A railways official said on Wednesday that Bubak has issued a final warning to the encroachers asking them to voluntarily demolish the houses and shops set up on the railways’ land or else action will be taken to remove the encroachments from the railway department’s property.

Bubak also directed the divisional superintendent, Nisar Ahmed Memon, to look into illegal occupation in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas and Tando Adam.
