Pakistan will enter the competition as defending champions

The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) on Tuesday announced a four-member squad for the 32nd Asian Snooker Championship which will be played from April 16-23 in Doha, Qatar.


Pakistan will enter the competition as defending champions and will field a strong line-up which includes Pakistan number one and two Mohammad Bilal and Sohail Shahzad, while former IBSF world champion and Asian 6-Red champion Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Sajjad, who along with Asif won the IBSF World Team Championship, are also part of the squad.

PBSA President Alamgir Sheikh will travel with the team to attend the Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports Annual General Meeting on April 21, which will be followed by an election for the executive officers on the same day, while Nisar Ali Bhagat will go as the team manager.
