Facilitating local industry: Industrial expo kicks off in Chakwal

Locally made industrial products were displayed at the expo

The second annual industrial expo kicked off at the Chakwal Community Centre on Tuesday.


Speaking at the ceremony, SAARC Chamber of Commerce Vice-President Iftikhar Ali Malik said the establishment of industrial zones will help to boost domestic products.

Expo centre in Faisalabad ‘unlike any other’

Chakwal DCO Mehmood Javed Bhatti said industrial development will speed up after the opening of the Neela Dulha Interchange.

Chakwal Chamber of Commerce Founder Qazi Muhammad Akbar said the chamber was making strides for the promotion of the industry.

Chamber president Khawaja Arif said the event is a good opportunity for the people of the district.

Zafar Bakhtwari, vice-chairperson of the chamber federation, said Chakwal is the land of veterans.

Locally made industrial products were displayed at the expo. Food stalls and musical programmes were also arranged. A large number of people from different walk of life attended the inauguration ceremony.

The expo is joint venture of The Express Media Group, SAARC Chamber of Commerce, Chakwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry and district administration Chakwal.
