Failure to provide data: 303 houses of foreigners to be sealed
Ministry has been working for the last year and a half get all residents of the capital registered with local police
ISLAMABAD:
The interior ministry on Tuesday decided to seal 303 houses in Islamabad after their foreigner occupants failed to comply with the orders for all residents to share their particulars to the authorities. The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan. The ministry has been working for the last year and a half to get all residents of the capital registered with local police stations. The meeting was informed that notices had been served on residents of these houses twice and that the last date for submission of particulars to the police was March 15. The meeting decided that the police would serve notices by Tuesday evening and the entrances and exits would be sealed on Wednesday.
