Peace: ‘Nation united against terrorism’

CM Punjab said the government was committed to promoting tolerance in the society

LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Saturday there was no room for extremism and terrorism in the country. Sharif was speaking to Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf. He said the government was committed to promoting tolerance in the society. “Terrorists are the enemies of not only Pakistan but also the rest of the world,” Sharif said. He said the nation was united against the menace. Significant achievements had been made in Operation Zarb-i-Azb, the chief minister said. Korean Ambassador Song Jong-Hwan, too, called on the chief minister and discussed the scope for cooperation in education, skill development, health and small and medium enterprise development.
