Police said that Abid, a resident of Babar Chowk area, had called some of his relatives from Faisalabad to settle a dispute. They had an argument that led to a shootout.
A bullet hit Qaim Ali, a neighbour, killing him instantly. The people from Faisalabad fled. Police said they had arrested three people. They said that further investigation was under way.
