Degree College: Tribespeople protest change of location

HANGU: Three tribes belonging to Central Orakzai and Kurram Agency took to the streets on Friday following the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government’s decision to change the location of the degree college in Hangu. A large number of tribespeople protested in Mishti Mela and shouted slogans against the decision. They said the authorities had approved the construction of the degree college in Mela Sheikhan, but later decided to shift its location. The protesters urged the government to reconsider its decision and threatened to protest outside Orakzai Agency Headquarters in Hangu and Governor House in Peshawar if their demands are not met.
