Northern sindh: Anti-polio drive to begin March 14

SUKKUR: A four-day anti-polio campaign in Sukkur, Khairpur, Ghotki and other districts of upper Sindh will start from March 14. Sukkur commissioner Muhammad Abbas Baloch directed on Friday the authorities concerned in the respective districts of Sukkur division to provide security to the polio workers.  He said negligence on the part of vaccination teams will not be tolerated at any cost and strict action will be taken against officials found to be negligent. Baloch said the plan formulated by the provincial health department should be implemented in the letter and spirit to meet the target.
