U21 snooker championship: Tahir, Raheem crash out of Asian event
Duo lose out to Yuchen in quarter-finals.

Pakistan’s Haris Tahir crashed out of the 17th Asian U21 Snooker Championship in Colombo on Sunday as he lost to China’s Wang Yuchen 5-0 in the last-eight round.
Yuchen dominated the match from the first frame 68-12 and carried on the momentum in the second 96-15. Tahir never found his focus against Yuchen and lost the third frame 98-11 too.
Asian Snooker Championship: Three-member team set for U21 event
Tahir tried to fight back in the fourth frame but Yuchen extended his lead 77-51 and sealed the win with a 66-10 victory in the fifth frame to move into the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, Yuchen also defeated Pakistan’s second cueist in the running Abdul Raheem 4-2 to progress in the tournament.
