Four ‘militants’ killed in police encounter

KARACHI:

Police claimed to have foiled a major terror activity, similar to the Safoora Goth tragedy, by killing at least four militants on Saturday.

District Malir police conducted a raid at the hideout of the militants near alAzhar Garden at Safoora Goth. After an exchange of fire four militants were killed. Two of the suspects have been identified as Sohail alias Kanga and Noman Akhtar, while other two are yet to be identified.  Weapons were also seized from them.
