Four killed in two separate explosions

QUETTA: Four people were killed on Tuesday in two separate explosions, one near Chamalang coalfields area and the other near Mand, officials said.

According to the police, a truck loaded with sand at Kacha Road near Chamalang exploded when it hit an anti-tank mine placed along the roadside. As a result of the blast, a labourer named Sheen Gul died, while the driver and the helper received multiple wounds. The police and rescue workers rushed to the spot soon after the blast and took the body and injured to the Combined Military Hospital in Loralai, where one of the injured Jalaludin succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, two persons were killed in Mand, a bordering area with Iran, when their car was attacked with a remote controlled device.
