Time and again Pakistani-turned-Indian singer Adnan Sami has justified his newly-acquired Indian citizenship by giving us countless reasons.

Apart from all the general goodness he sees in India, Adnan recently confessed that Indian cuisine played a major role in his decision to adopt it as his homeland.

In a recent interview with ANI, the Kabhi To Nazar Milao singer said, “Yes, I love Indian food and that was one of the reasons I chose to be an Indian but I also love the people and every part of India,” DNA reported.

But we wonder if he is a real foodie or not since he has set an example by losing almost 167 kg in five years. Revealing his trying journey, Adnan shared he was judged for his music and not for his waistline.

He also shared his fitness mantra saying, “I lost 167 kg and my fitness mantra is to never be apologetic about yourself, about your looks as long as you feel good. Everybody is different and has a unique identity. One thing that nobody can be is be yourself.”

But how could Adnan’s conversation end without praising his ultimate choice. He expressed his opinion on the popular debate of nationalism in the country saying, “I feel very proud to be an Indian citizen. It’s healthy that people have different opinions about particular matters.”

“By having diverse opinions we are able to reflect upon a solution which would make society a better place to live in and India is no different to any other country,” he added.

Now that’s some next level patriotism!

Bad cuisine. One must mention the true facts. The food is so bad that you don’t eat and you lose 167 pounds. That’s the only thing which makes sense.Recommend

I, as Pakistani, will never trade Peshawari tikka kabab, seekh kabab, chapli kabab and goat karahi along many other dishes for any other cuisine but it’s just me. Similarly, Punjabi and Karachi meals are known for its taste.

Adnan Sami sahib, you are lying. It is your choice if you prefer to live in India but stop telling lies putting your native country. You may have Indian citizenship but you always will be the native of Pakistan. Recommend

One thing Adnan Sami Khan need to keep himself away is food and lots of food. He will explode one day if he thinks of food all the time. The real reason is money and his singing business, not food. Recommend
