LAHORE: A 22-year-old woman from Harbanspura area was admitted to Services Hospital for treatment of injuries she said she had suffered in an attack by djinns.  Amna, wife of Ijaz Maseeh, a Salamatpura resident, told the police that she was attacked during her sleep. She said she did not see anyone nearby when she woke up screaming in the middle of the night. SHO Atif Zulfiqar dismissed as inaccurate media reports that the woman had been attacked with acid. He said a police team that had visited the scene had found no evidence of an acid attack. He said the woman had been insisting that she was attacked by djinns. He said some neighbours the police spoke to said her house had been possessed by djinns. He said the police were investigating the matter.
