Wrong turn: Woman dies in accident

TIMERGARA: A woman was killed and seven others injured when a passenger van plunged into a ravine in Peto Dara area of Timergara. Police said the driver lost control of the vehicle which fell into the ravine, resulting in the death of the wife of Ameer Badshah. She died on the spot, while seven others suffered injuries. They were identified as Abid, Muhammad Gul, Ikram, Haseena, Sameera, Dilharam and Bakhtiar. The injured were rushed to District Headquarters Hospital Timergara where they were treated. The body of the woman was handed over to her relatives.
