Execution: Murder convict hanged in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: A death-row convict was hanged at a Gujranwala jail on Thursday. According to jail officials, Irshad had kidnapped and assaulted a girl in Pindi Bhattian in 1999. He was hanged till death on Thursday morning. The body was handed to his legal heirs after medico-legal formalities.
