Poor performance: 17 police officials transferred

TAXILA: As many as 17 police officials including an inspector, 11 sub-inspectors and five assistant sub-inspectors were transferred from three different police stations of Taxila circle were transferred for their longer than due stay in the area, and poor performance. It was alleged that they had developed contacts with the criminals, which was matched many time by mobile phone data of both the criminals and the police officials during official investigation. From Taxila Police Station an inspector, six sub-inspectors and four assistant sub-inspectors were transferred. From Wah Cantonment Police Station, two sub-inspectors were transferred, while from Wah Saddar Police Station three sub-inspectors and two assistant sub-inspectors were transferred and directed to report to police lines.
