Nabbed : Six arrested for ‘gambling’

The police have registered a case against the robbers and started an investigation

RAWALPINDI: The RA Bazaar police on Wednesday arrested six suspected gamblers and seized stake money and valuables from their possession. The police raided a gambling den at Dispensary Ground Tench Bhatta, Rawalpindi and arrested Farooq, Qaisar, Salman, Hafiz, Munir and Jahangir along with Rs12,350, six mobile phones, and other items. Separate cases have been registered. Meanwhile, a man was looted at gunpoint in the busiest Pirwadhai area of Rawalpindi on Wednesday. Sultan Khan lodged a complaint with the local police that two armed motorcyclists intercepted him at Pirwadhai Road and snatched Rs30,000, a laptop, a mobile phone, and documents. The police have registered a case against the robbers and started an investigation.
