GUJAR KHAN:
Police in Gujar Khan on Sunday arrested four persons for gambling at roosters during a cockfight competition. The police also took four roosters, Rs43,000 stake money, six motorcycles and five vehicles into custody during the raid. The suspects were identified as Zia Hussain, Muhammad Nazeer, Zaryab Quddus and Muhammad Qadeer. In another raid, the police arrested a shopkeeper, identified as Zohaib, for selling kites and string and string rolls. Cases have been registered against all the suspects.
