Lahore to Delhi Dosti Bus service suspended as caste violence engulfs India

The Jat caste is leading the protests in Haryana, demanding quotas for government jobs and university placements

The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) suspended on Sunday the Dosti Bus service, which runs between Lahore and Delhi after caste violence engulfed the Indian state of Haryana.

According to Express News, manager of the bus service said 20 passengers had booked seats to travel to Delhi, who have now been notified about the postponement.

At least ten people have so far died in caste protests in the north Indian state.

The upper cast Indians are not likely to treat pakistani muslims well because historically, most of the pakistanis forefathers were low cast/dalits who had converted to islam to escape the maltreatment given by hindus,.
