PESHAWAR:

Capital City Police have provided mounted police with sniffer dogs to ensure security across the city. Speaking to The Express Tribune on Saturday SSP Operations Abbas Majid Marwat said they were pooling all their resources to tighten security.

He added that mounted police had been deployed in the city and in cantonment areas. Earlier, four horses and two sniffer dogs were deployed in Qissa Khwani Bazaar and Saddar.

The handlers of these sniffer dogs will regularly carry out security checks on vehicles while policemen in saddles will patrol busy marketplaces.
