While the Bollywood fraternity raves on about Neerja, Sonam's cousin and actor Arjun Kapoor has chosen not to watch the film out of a certain 'fear'.

In a rather sweet gesture, Arjun uploaded a video on Twitter explaining why he has 'avoided' watching her film. He says that he has a "fear of losing out on his loved ones", and Sonam remains "one of those who he loves tremendously". Hence, he will skip this Sonam starrer.

Here's how much Neerja's family charged for biopic starring Sonam Kapoor

But that didn't stop Arjun for showing his love and support for the starlet and he wished her all the best for her upcoming film. "I'm very, very proud of you for choosing to be a part of something like this and I really hope people can see how wonderfully talented you are," he said.

Neerja's last flight announcement will leave you in tears

Arjun sure is missing out!

Neerja is based on a real life story of Neerja Bhanot. Bhanot was the senior flight purser on the ill-fated Pan Am Flight 73 flying from Mumbai to USA, which was hijacked by four armed men on September 5, 1986 when it was stopped at Karachi airport in Pakistan.

Directed by Ram Madhvani starring Sonam Kapoor in titular role, the film also stars Shabana Azmi and Shekhar Ravjiani.
