Alleging Nepotism: Protesters flay secretaries’ recruitment
Protesters blocked the road connecting Upper and Lower Dir with Chitral and shouted slogans against the government
TIMERGARA:
Candidates from ANP and QWP protested outside Timergara Press Club on Thursday over the recruitment of union council secretaries. They alleged the appointments had been made on the basis of nepotism. Protesters blocked the road connecting Upper and Lower Dir with Chitral and shouted slogans against the coalition government. They rejected the recruitment process for the secretaries and said the government had fallen short of their promises. They urged PTI Chairperson Imran Khan to take notice of the matter and threatened to hold more protests if their demands were not met.
