At least 13 high profile prisoners languishing in Adiala Jail have been shifted to Sahiwal Jail due to security concerns.
Sources in Adial Jaild said that the high profile prisoners including three former army men were shifted to the newly established jail in Sahiwal amidst tight security. The source said that 10 high profile prisoners including the main suspect involved in attack on Pervez Musharraf case have already been moved to Sahiwal Jail.
The prisoners who were shifted to the Sahiwal Jail included Raksha Rehman, Adnan Gul, Muhammad Khateeb, Inam Din, Khalid Saifullah, Fida Muhammad, Alamzeb, Arsghad Mehmood, Faisal Irfan, Shahid Ali, Zaheer Iqbal, Usman Liaquat, Abdul Khaliq.
The source also said that five more prisoners including Ghulam Shabir, Akhtar Ayub, Muhammad Asif, Maulvi Khizer and Danish Khan will also be shifted to the Sahiwal Jail very soon.
