LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Friday sought comments from the Factory Area SHO on a petition filed by a man seeking registration of a case against his wife and three other people for aborting his child. Mushtaq Ahmed submitted that he had married Asia Bibi and that they had two children. He said when she got pregnant again, she told him that she wanted to undergo an abortion giving poverty as the reason for this. “I forbade her but she underwent an abortion with help from Robina, Waqas and Khurram,” he said. He said he had requested the SHO to take action against them but he had done nothing in this regard. He requested the court to direct the SHO to register an FIR against them.
