Women entrepreneurship: SMEDA joins hands with IMS
PESHAWAR:
Small & Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) and Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) Peshawar entered into an agreement for the joint operation of Women Business Development Centre (WBDC) in the provincial metropolis of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. A formal memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard was signed by SMEDA Provincial Chief Javed Iqbal Khattak while Dr Mohsin, Director of IMS, represented his own institution. WBDC is a project of SMEDA and aimed at providing an exclusive female oriented environment for those women who want to establish a business. The project will provide short-term and long-term benefits to women entrepreneurs including the provision of administrative and secretarial support, office space and display, professional services of experts and consultants.
