Sweep: Proclaimed offender arrested in Swabi

SWABI: A proclaimed offender and several other alleged criminals were arrested during a search operation in Zeda, Swabi on Tuesday. Police said the Swabi DPO formed a team under the supervision of SHO Muhammad Asghar Khan and ASI Subhanullah Khan to lead a search operation. The team managed to arrest a wanted criminal identified as Shah Noman. The accused was wanted by the Punjab police in numerous murder cases. Meanwhile, the same team also arrested several bootleggers and suspected criminals, and seized weapons and drugs from their possession. Mardan DIG Muhammad Saeed Khan Wazir provided a cheque of Rs10,000 to Asghar for his performance.
