Malindo, an airline jointly owned by Malaysia and Indonesia, has acquired landing rights in Pakistan, according to the information gathered by the Express Investigation Cell.
Malindo – Mal for Malaysia and Indo for Indonesia ¬ will start offering its budget air services from the next month. The company has already signed an agreement and the ministry of Defence and Civil Aviation Authority have granted the new operators landing rights in a hush-hush deal.

Industry officials told the Express Investigation Cell that the airline, considered best in its home skies, will start operations from Lahore next month. The arrangements for the high quality yet inexpensive air services have been finalised, officials said.
