CHITRAL: Residents from Bumbagh, Chitral, have urged the provincial government, district nazim and humanitarian organisations to expand development schemes and aid to areas that are inaccessible. A news conference was held at Chitral Press Club on Saturday whereby the locals demanded the government restore the damaged pipelines and other irrigation channels. “Aid has been provided to the quake-affected population. However, the government and NGOs failed to reach this area,” a local said. The locals appealed to the government to look into the matter.
