Another possible reason for the attack could be the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as terrorists don’t want it to be completed and are using common people for their interest.

Claiming that the attack was aimed at damaging the CPEC project, the secretary said, “Because of the Economic Corridor, the security forces are being targeted by terrorists.”
