Vin Diesel, Deepika get up-close for 'xXx: The Return of Xander Cage' shoot

Deepika and Vin Diesel huddled up close for the shoot of xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, and everyone's in a tizzy.

The Hollywood actor posted a photo on Instagram of him and Deepika Padukone with a caption reading, "First day of filming... Xander and Serena..."

He also thanked his followers on Instagram, who have now multiplied to a whopping 17 million.

The Bajirao Mastani actor is currently in Canada to shoot for her Hollywood debut alongside Vin Diesel.

Back home, she was training hard for her role in the film and expressed that she was 'excited' and 'nervous' to explore new horizons. "I am very excited. But I want to confess that I am very nervous,” she told PTI according to NDTV.

Earlier she had said, “In the few two or three interactions that I have had with him (Vin Diesel), he is just a very warm person. He is very generous among most of my co-stars that I have worked with. I think it will be a fun experience working with him.”

In the third installment of the film, Diesel will be seen reappearing as Cage who returns to the National Security Agency after an eight-year absence in the movie, which also stars Nina Dobrev, Samuel L Jackson, Ruby Rose, Jet Li and Tony Jaa.

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage is expected to release in 2017, and we couldn't be more excited.
