Execution: Death row convict hanged
Security arrangements were tightened in and around the prison during the execution
PESHAWAR:
A convicted militant was hanged at Kohat Central Prison on Wednesday. An official privy with the development told The Express Tribune Bilal Ahmad alias Abu Abdullah was awarded a death sentence by a military court. Security arrangements were tightened in and around the prison during the execution. “Bilal hailed from a village in Sialkot and was affiliated with a banned militant outfit,” the official said. “He was arrested two years ago for attacking security forces.”
