HYDERABAD: Workers of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) continued their protest for the third day, calling for lifting of the court-ordered ban on their leader Altaf Hussain's speeches in the electronic and print media.  The demonstrations, attended by hundreds of people, were staged at four different locations in the city on Sunday. The party's office bearers, elected legislators and local government representatives were among the protesters. Hyderabad zone’s incharge Navaid Shamsi and others who addressed the protesters questioned the intention behind the National Action Plan, asking whether the plan was meant to target terrorists or the MQM.
