Electricity will be provided to 66 villages in Bhakkar under a grant issued by federal government, said National Assembly member Muhammad Afzal Khan Dhandla. He was talking to newsmen at his NA-74 office on Friday.
Dhandla said the project would cost Rs80 million. He said he had requested the prime minister to address the power crisis in his constituency and he had agreed to allocate a grant for access electricity in NA-74. He said under the initial plan, electricity would be provided to 66 villages in the area.
MNA Muhammad Afzal Khan said provision of basic facilities in rural areas was a priority of the government. He said access to health and education was imperative.
