Since its release, it took a total of 60-minutes for Rihanna's latest single Work to hit number one on iTunes. And although it has fast topped everyone's music list, no one seems to understand the lyrics of the song.

The singer, ecstatic about her chart topping single, urged fans to listen to her latest release.

And as much as fans love the song, they can't help but express their confusion at the lyrics.

It seems like the only word her fans are sure about is 'work.'

To be fair, the chorus revolves around the word 'work', which comes about 18 times (yes, we counted) so her fans aren't really that far off in their assumptions.

But we've got your back. Here are the lyrics to Rihanna's song. Courtesy: MetroLyrics

Work, work, work
Work, work, work
You see me I be
Work, work, work
Work, work, work
You see me
Do me dirt, dirt, dirt
Dirt, dirt, dirt
For some of that
Work, work, work
Work, work, work
Duh, duh, duh, duh
For you I got
Nah, nah, nah
Nah, nah, nah
Before the tables turned, turned turned turned

Now you can listen to her song without second guessing the words.

Anna | 8 years ago | Reply Those aren't even the lyrics. Did we forget she is West Indian? She doesn't talk like an American and that was displayed in this song. I understood every word in the chorus and I'm Jamaican. Get over yourselves. This is a classic case of uncultured Americans.
